Abstract
Modular polynomials encode isogenies between pairs of elliptic curves and have applications to cryptography. Famously, these polynomials have very large coefficients. In this talk I will outline some recent results on the sizes and divisibility properties of these coefficients. Time permitting, I will also touch on the analogous situation for Drinfeld modular polynomials.
