Chloe is an Education Forcussed lecturer in the School of Art and Design, teaching in integrated and collaborative design programs across Bachelor, Honours, and Masters degrees. Chloe's particular interest lies in fostering a transdisciplinary approach to听integrate somaesthetic and imaginal sensitivities to advance the field of trauma-integrated design. Her profound understanding of the vital role of protective and compensatory experiences and how these may be cultivated in empathetic, creative, and meaning-making experiences underscores her commitment to socially engaged design and the way she approaches design education. Chloe's pedagogical approach is deeply rooted in fostering听enriching learning environments and adopting a strengths-based approach to empower students to thrive in the dynamic design industry.听听听
Chloe's commitment to education, research, and transformative design experiences extends beyond the classroom, with her creative outputs having been exhibited at Venice Biennale, Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (St Kilda Sea Baths, Melbourne), Hidden: Rookwood Sculpture Walk (Sydney), the UNICEF Designers Unite Against AIDS Blue String Campaign, in various solo and group shows in Sydney and Melbourne, and by the International Artists and Climate Change Organisation. Chloe's transdisciplinary expertise has also been deployed in collaborative roles demonstrating the transformative power of art and design, including: Sydney Children鈥檚 Hospital Foundation and Randwick Children鈥檚 Hospital School, Fairfield Multicultural Health Services together with STARRTS and Opera Australia Choir Projects, Exodus Foundation Kaleidoscope Art Program, and the Rowing Australia GrOW program in rehabilitation and juvenile justice facilities and in Sydney.听
As a recipient of an Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship and member of 国民彩票's Big Anxiety Research Centre (BARC), Chloe's forthcoming PhD in trauma-integrated design, reaffirms her dedication to advancing innovative research at the intersection of mental health and design.

Co-investigator in 国民彩票 Education Focussed School Grant (2022) 'Leveraging innovations using MSTeams in mixed modal learning spaces to develop an equitable and engaged scalable cross-disciplinary teaching model' together with听Emma Mills (Project Lead), Karin Watson, Dr Mark Ian Jones,听Stephen Goddard and Dr Carly Vickers.
"... a reflective teaching pilot was undertaken in the discipline of Design at an Australian research-intensive university. The aim was to prototype an equitable and engaged learning space in a mixed modal delivery using MS Teams, incorporating the teaching innovations developed 鈥渙n the fly鈥 during the online delivery of curriculum in 2020."
