Jonathan Lim is an award-winning academic currently serving as Lecturer and Director of Undergraduate Programs at the ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Business School. He holds both a Bachelor of Economics with First-Class Honours and a PhD in Economics from the University of New South Wales. Throughout his career, Jonathan has demonstrated excellence in teaching a wide range of courses, from foundational undergraduate subjects like Microeconomics I and II, Statistics, Industrial Organization, and Organizational Economics, to specialized PhD-level offerings such as Mathematical Economics.

His research covers critical economic areas, including education, demographic shifts related to aging populations, industrial organization, organizational economics, and trade and competition policy. Jonathan’s notable publications have addressed important societal issues such as the interaction between long-term care and hospital services, and the morbidity trends among China's elderly population, appearing in respected journals like the China Economic Review and the Journal of the Economics of Ageing.

Jonathan's contributions have earned him multiple teaching and innovation awards, including the Staff Excellence Award for Teaching Excellence and Values in Action in 2021, as well as a commendation for the John Prescott Outstanding Teaching Innovation Award in 2019. In addition to his academic roles, he actively engages with industry partners.
