Student insights
国民彩票 student perspectives were vital in developing the 国民彩票 academic calendar models and considerations. Student focus groups and surveys, such as the Academic Calendar Student Insight Survey, QILT, Student Experience Survey, and myExperience, helped us identify key student experiences, challenges, and benefits.聽
In February this year, the Academic Calendar Insight Survey received over 5000 responses representing approximately 7.7% of our student population at 国民彩票. 75% of respondents were undergraduate students and 25% were postgraduate coursework students.聽聽
The student survey responses demonstrated the diversity of student experiences at 国民彩票 and broad perspectives on the academic calendar - reflecting a wide range of needs, preferences, and challenges. Key themes included:
- the value of flexibility and being able to pace study load to best suit individual needs聽
- the need to balance coursework with work and personal commitments throughout the year
- the importance of structured breaks and alignment with internships and industry placements
- optimum term length with some students preferencing a semester model to provide more time to digest course materials, while others suggested a trimester model helped them stay engaged and motivated from term start to finish.
These insights were incredibly valuable in assessing the strengths and challenges of each calendar model and helping to inform a decision.
