A world-first initiative, harnessing interdisciplinary research with people with disability to seek鈥痠nnovative solutions.
Launched in 2017,鈥痶he Institute's鈥痸ision is to improve and transform the lives of people with a disability. Working closely with people with disabilities and industry experts, the Institute provides a platform to combine disability studies with science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) and humanities and social sciences (HASS) research to design accessible and inclusive working, living and learning environments, generate innovative technologies and create inclusive law, policy, services, markets and communities.
