Work Integrated Learning (WIL) enables students to develop work readiness skills that meet industry standards, enhancing their employability. WIL activities may include:
- Placements (including internships and clinical placements) where students perform course-related work while embedded within a partner organisation.
- Projects where students deliver specific outcomes for a partner organisation which acts as聽 a mentor and/or client throughout the activity.
Where and how WIL takes place
- on or off campus, either face-to-face or online
- office-based, clinical, or field-work聽 settings
- paid or unpaid.
Through WIL, students build critical skills for workplace success, gain exposure to professional environments, and develop networks that support their future careers.
Governance of WIL
