What is the discipline of Medicine?
The newly established discipline of Medicine aims to brings together the internal medicine sub-disciplines within the School of Clinical Medicine to lead the coordinated delivery of education within the discipline and to support research in relevant areas.听
The initial focus of the discipline is to:听
further develop a Foundation Steering Committee听
identify the scope for the discipline and define sub-speciality areas听
work towards a strategy for engaging the internal medicine sub-disciplines in the Medicine Curriculum Redesign project
quantify and standardise existing teaching within the discipline across our clinical campuses.
