Who we are

The Flow Cytometry Facility offers high-end instrumentation and expertise for cell/particle sorting and analysis across a broad range of both biological and environmental research applications. We offer three Cell Sorters (DIY available), five Analysers, Dynamic Light Scatter (DLS) size analysis, Nano-particle tracking analysis, CellCelector and Deformability Cytometry.

Funding partners:

Capabilities

Science molecule icon
Multiparameter flow cytometry acquisition
Rapid and multiparametric analysis of particles with up to 62 fluorescent parameters ranging from 355nm - 800nm. Sample uptake options include 96 well plate loading on HTS.
Science molecule strucutre icon
Cell sorting
Cell sorting separates and isolates specific cell populations from a mixture using up to 62 fluorescent parameters to analyze biological characteristics.
Science perspective icon
Small particle analysis DLS/NTA
Measures the size distribution, concentration, and zeta potential of particles in a solution by analyzing light scattering caused by their Brownian motion or migration under an electric field.
Science cells icon
Deformability cytometry
Measurements of the mechanical properties of cells, such as stiffness and elasticity, by analyzing their deformation as they flow through microfluidic channels. It provides insights into cell health, type, and disease states without the need for labels.
Automated single cell & colony picking system
The ALS CellCelectorâ„¢ platform is a unique and fully automated cell imaging and picking system developed for detection, selection and isolation of single cells, clusters, spheroids and organoids.
Rhapsody single cell multiomics
A high-throughput system for single-cell analysis, capturing and barcoding individual cells for multiomic studies to investigate gene expression, proteins, and other molecular features at the single-cell level.
