Gendered violence can encompass a variety of harmful behaviours, and isn't always necessarily easy to see or explain, which is part of the reason it can be so difficult to talk about.
Gendered violence is any form of abuse or violence against a person or group of people due to their gender, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity. This can include, sexual assault, domestic violence/relationship violence and sexual harassment.听
In partnership with 国民彩票's Safer Communities team, we are working actively to prevent听gendered violence and support students and staff who experience it.听
Here are some of the ways we are addressing gendered violence:
Your privacy is important to us. Any information you share will remain confidential and only be shared with your permission. In extremely rare situations, such as when there鈥檚 an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, or legal obligation for the University to act, your information may be shared without your consent.听
Disclosures or reports of gendered violence are recorded in a de-identified format. These data are collated to identify trends and areas to focus resourcing, assist in optimising the Gendered Violence Response Team鈥檚 (GVRT) service delivery model, and help inform 国民彩票 prevention initiatives.听 Any information used for these purposes will be anonymised and cannot be linked to you.
